John Blair, MD, FACC, is an interventional cardiologist at University of Chicago Medicine. He combines his interventional cardiology training and and research in heart failure to offer a robust array of clinical services such as coronary physiology testing, advanced hemodynamics, percutaneous mitral valve repair, and recanalization of chronic total occlusions to compliment the robust service line that University of Chicago Medicine offers. He has extensive research experience in the areas of heart failure, hemodynamics, and coronary physiology, resulting in multiple peer-reviewed papers, review articles, and book chapters. He has participated as the local PI in several randomized clinical trials in heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, coronary artery disease, and coronary microvascular occlusion.
